Port Lympne Wild Animal Park Port Lympne 2023

Personally, I fear Mr Aspinall may beg to differ!
It would mean setting up rewilding programmes for a slew of other, less promoted ungulates and primates they currently hold. Of course there's another way to reduce their stocks, some species there are already dying off through natural attrition or by preventing any further breeding e.g. Diana monkey, Blackbuck,or non-breeding e.g. GB Mangabey, but at the same time other groups like Lion-tailed Macaque and White-naped Managabey(both at Howletts) are continuing to increase. Then afaik some groups like the Drills are actually owned/managed by the EEP so in the event of shutdown would presumably be reclaimed by them...its a confusing mixture of allsorts it seems.

Does anyone know if Rothschild giraffe Valentino is still here? Only asking seen as they've not long taken in a new 4yr old male Zubani from Ireland. Is he a replacement for Valentino?

Has anyone visited recently or planning to? Does anyone know the current situation regarding their giraffes?

Obviously a new 4yr old male Rothschild arrived earlier this year presumably to breed with Lunar & Lehanna but any news on previous breeding bull Valentino? Also the younger females born there Mwezi & Kianga?
