Posting photos from a members' preview of new exhibit?

Dear staff, members,

Recently I went on a members' preview guided tour of the new orangutan exhibit at Planckendael that is in its final stages of construction.

The guide allowed pictures to be taken during this visit and I did.

I am now wondering whether I can post these in the gallery and if so, right now or at a later date?

I believe I have done and was permitted to do so previously, but I would like some information about current policy.

I will not be including any photos of areas that we visited that to my current knowledge will not be publicly viewable in the future.

Thanks in advance for all help.

Kindly, KevinB.

Thanks for asking first Kevin!

I've discussed it with the moderation team and we've decided that it would be acceptable for you to upload the photos. We figure that if they hadn't wanted photos to be posted online, they would not have let you take any, or would have explicitly requested that you don't upload them.

The exhibit will be public soon anyway - there should be no great secret about what they are doing.

I agree with and appreciate your approach of avoiding photos that are likely to be classified as "behind the scenes" - best to minimise potential problems in the future there.

Thank you for your timely and thoughtful response, Simon.

I hope to be posting the photos somewhere this week.
