Posting Photos that aren't yours

Can I please remind everyone that you are NOT to upload photos or video to the gallery which are not your photos or which you do not have permission to post.

It had recently come to my attention that there have been some photos taken from other websites and uploaded to our gallery without the permission of the owner of the photo.

I can potentially face legal issues if people are posting photos belonging to someone else.

If you are aware of any photos in the gallery which should not be there - please send me links to them and I'll remove them.

When I joined Zoobeat I wanted to post information which had been published by a zoo keeper. I contacted him for permission to do so and he refused. His reason for doing so was that the information he had written had been heavily edited and was also out of date.

He thanked me for taking the trouble to ask first.

I would not want any of my photos used without permission, and a member of this site did ask if they could use some of my photos, which was OK by me. I'm pleased that someone thought they were that good to start with.

I think that if the owner can be traced the poster should ask, and if the owner is not known thne it should not be used.

I am the Enrichment Officer for Night Safari.

These photos were taken by me and are my personal property. They were not meant for public posting. The poster Zooish has posted these photos without any permission from me and has in addition, posted inaccurate information.

I will appreciate the immediate removal of these photos.

Giant Flying Squirrel Photos

I believe that the Giant Flying Squirrel photo which was taken "Courtesy of Animal Management Officer Abdul Razak Jaffar" was taken without Animal Management Officer Abdul Razak Jaffar's courtesy at all for he in his years of living experience have not met/heard/read/spoken/sign languaged/murmur in his sleep/called/ and whatever mode of communication there is and therefore does not recall any Mr Zooish seeking permission for the photo to be posted in this forum and thus has never granted any request in doing so.
I remember inserting a clause where this picture was taken and I quote:
"NOTE: Pictures are property of Night Safari Singapore. If you want to use it please kindly write in to me... Thank You."

The individual has not made any attempt to write in to me and thus has faulted the clause and thus the picture must be revoked indefinitely.

I seek help from the Moderators to remove the post indefinitely. Thank you and best wishes.
