This is a list from the 2014 national studbook of Stump-tailed macaques all stump-tailed macaques at zoos in India between 1974 and 2014:
*in short 58 wild caught Stump-tailed macaques in India zoos (Kanpur Zoo originally the first and only) between August 1974 and October 2013
*29 captive born Stump-tailed macaques in Indian zoos between August 1978 (Kanpur) and June 2012 {there were cessations of any births in captivity multiple times during this era: 5.1, 3.1, 4.4, 2.6, 3.9 & 2.6(again) year gaps; but from late 2003 to mid 2012, births were pretty consistant, most especially Aizawl Zoo (but Assam Zoo too was significant).
*Between 17 zoos in India - 87 Stump-tailed macaques have lived
*45 were still alive by 2014 (25 wild caught and 20 captive born. The ldest 1.0 Rawk (at Tirupati Zoo) was born approx 1985 so was approaching 30 years old at the time)
*as mentioned four male Stump-tailed macaques (one being afformentioned Rawk) lived alone at Bokaro, Chhatbir, Tirupati and Zotui zoos; would of been ideal if were joined up at one zoo in a bachelor group of four (or even two zoos in bachelor pairs). Was what it was though, hope they didnt have to live alone for rest of their lives if possible).
*As mentioned Aizawl Zoo were the most successful with breeding them having 15 born between 2004 and 2012, and had 23 (12.11) Stump-tailed macaques in beginning of 2014 (the 15 who were born there and the 8 {4.4} founders).

Aizawl, Assam, Patna, Delhi, Lucknow and Shillong soos all sound like the best zoos at keeping them in recent times and that Kanpur Zoo & Chhatbir Zoo would say used to be
Think that the lone males Mir at Bokaro, Hunam at Chhatbir, Rawk at Tirupati and Zotui at Visakapatnam should all of been united as a bachelor troop at one zoo for company

Aizawl, Assam, Patna, Delhi, Lucknow and Shillong soos all sound like the best zoos at keeping them in recent times and that Kanpur Zoo & Chhatbir Zoo would say used to be
Think that the lone males Mir at Bokaro, Hunam at Chhatbir, Rawk at Tirupati and Zotui at Visakapatnam should all of been united as a bachelor troop at one zoo for company
*in short 58 wild caught Stump-tailed macaques in India zoos (Kanpur Zoo originally the first and only) between August 1974 and October 2013
*29 captive born Stump-tailed macaques in Indian zoos between August 1978 (Kanpur) and June 2012 {there were cessations of any births in captivity multiple times during this era: 5.1, 3.1, 4.4, 2.6, 3.9 & 2.6(again) year gaps; but from late 2003 to mid 2012, births were pretty consistant, most especially Aizawl Zoo (but Assam Zoo too was significant).
*Between 17 zoos in India - 87 Stump-tailed macaques have lived
*45 were still alive by 2014 (25 wild caught and 20 captive born. The ldest 1.0 Rawk (at Tirupati Zoo) was born approx 1985 so was approaching 30 years old at the time)
*as mentioned four male Stump-tailed macaques (one being afformentioned Rawk) lived alone at Bokaro, Chhatbir, Tirupati and Zotui zoos; would of been ideal if were joined up at one zoo in a bachelor group of four (or even two zoos in bachelor pairs). Was what it was though, hope they didnt have to live alone for rest of their lives if possible).
*As mentioned Aizawl Zoo were the most successful with breeding them having 15 born between 2004 and 2012, and had 23 (12.11) Stump-tailed macaques in beginning of 2014 (the 15 who were born there and the 8 {4.4} founders).
