The North American River Otter exhibit is now open after their habitat was fixed (one of their toys blocked the plumbing.)
2 African Crested Porcupines were born on June 28th.
2 Swift Fox pups were born recently, and have been venturing out on exhibit recently.
 
On January 2nd, two Ringtails named Pixie (female) and Pippin (male) went on exhibit near the entrance of the zoo.
The Pallas' Cats are expected to go on display sometime later this January.

Another pair of African Crested Porcupine babies were born, to account for the zoo's newest animals of 2014.

Shifting Plans: Old World Monkeys and African Painted Dogs

The Zoo will be turning away from the Rhino plans temporarily to focus on bringing in African painted dogs and two Species of Old World Monkeys.

A female Scottish Highlands Cow named Chilly Jane was donated to the zoo recently.
On June 25th, a female Red Panda named Leela gave birth to a stillborn cub. She is now back on exhibit with her mate.
