Guys (and girls) going to Dudley to do a keeper for a day if you got any questions plz let me know i will post them asap. :D (not eny on big cats not doing that section)

Im going to ask about alpacas.
 
You can ask where the alpaca's have gone because the peccaries are in their enclosure now.....

Ask what is being done for the Orangs and how soon?
Where are the chimps going if they are having a new house, and if they move ask if the giraffes can move into the chimp enclosure.
Everyone on here wants to know what's going to happen with the polar bear pit.....
When will female hunting dogs arrive?
I could go on but the keepers will get fe up of all the questions.

and can you find out who was the father of the baby who passed away to jazz - is she pregnant again and is her mother being allowed to breed with jorong ..

to confirm Jurong was the father, to answer the polar pit question simple haven't go a clue :D

chimps might be moved, might not.

well the chimps have had a new climbing frame put in since the old one fell down :):) and the alpacas are down at the farm

I didn't think you would get any concrete answers as that's what I've found with Dudley, but as long as they keep carrying out improvements I'll be happy.

But still no news on the Orangs?
Where on the farm are the alpaca's, I was at the zoo 2 weeks ago and looked down there as that was where I was told they were, but didn't see them.
Could they not go in with the guacanos or is it a bad idea to keep these two related animals together?
 
the male guanaco got eye probelms not a good mix, since one of the alpacas are mean, and the alpacas are at the back with the cameroon sheep

So did you have a good day, what did it involve?
Did you have a favourite animal that you just had to feed?
I think if I ever did it I'd spend lots of time with the tapirs.
 
erhm...tbh i dont have a favourite animal, and it was great ^^ i did chimp, orangs, hoofstock and bird since the new format of the keeper for a day. which is basically where you do a bit of each section in a day.

also they are doing work on the small primate enclosure, the keeper said they are making it stronger but not saying wat primates are going in! start the guessing, i want to know :D
 
Yeah I saw the work starting on the house where some of the lemurs are kept, it was closed to the public.
Also the day I went the chimp house was closed due to flooding! Don't know if it was the part where the people go in or the actual chimp house, but the chimps were all outside which is unusual in itself, but it was a nice warm day, so better than sitting on soggy straw!
