I thought only Amurs were SSP with others being phased out?
I believe in this case ssp = subspecies. Amur is the only focus right now. A few zoos (Columbus, Alabama Gulf Coast, and Southwick's) have African but they're almost gone. North Chinese and Persian are kept only at the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound and as far as I know there won't be programs with them because the AZA neglected to take the chance when it was a viable option. Besides those, you have your generic and your black leopards floating around.

Just so you have the most correct information, Little Rock Zoo houses Malayan tigers, at least as of my visit in 2015 the KC Zoo has Sumatran not Amur, and Memphis houses a couple of breeding Sumatrans as well as 3 non-breeding Bengal mixes.

Snow leopards: unless something changed very recently, Racine doesn't have snow leopards - they used to though a long time ago. You also missed the NEW Zoo in Green Bay, which if you look at photos in the gallery, I would imagine you'd put close to the bottom of your rankings.

Having seen both Buffalo and Erie Zoo's Amur Tiger exhibits, I would put Buffalo ahead of Erie. To me, Erie is like a box exhibit exposing the tiger at all time. Buffalo has more trees and even a moat if the tiger wants privacy. They also have the updated pool, thanks to the polar bear cubs using the space a few years ago. Erie Zoo's back wall may be more naturalistic, but it's still mock rock.

Arizona Sonora Desert Museum is number nine for pumas??? No, they are easily number one or two. I love Northwest Trek (all of it including puma exhibit) so I will agree to keep that at number one. But ASDM needs to slot in right behind at number two. Just look at the photos in the gallery.

After #5 on the leopard list, it significantly goes downhill...

For snow leopards, I'd rank St. Louis, OKC, and LAZ above San Diego. Also Rosalind Gifford has them, and I think theirs is better than Biffalo.

Could also do a clouded leopard list, there are some great ones.
