The mayor of Wisconsin Rapids say he has big plans to improve the zoo.
um... is there supposed to be a link to an article there? The mayor of Wisconsin Rapids say he has big plans to improve the zoo.
No, actually. I found an article stating this, but it was really slow on my computer and lagged terribly. Also, that's really all it said.um... is there supposed to be a link to an article there?
This zoo is tiny, and 99% of what I know about is from a trip to it from a few years ago. As you said, they don't have a website, aren't on any kind of social media, and the only news about what is happening at the zoo that I have ever come across is this, and when the zoo opens for the season every year.I would like it if they had some kind of webpage. I can’t find anything on it, not even on Facebook.

Species List form my visit in 2015:What do they have?
Finally found something about it:The mayor of Wisconsin Rapids say he has big plans to improve the zoo.
What bear enclosure? The Article said:The phases outlined in the master plan include installing an aviary, replacing the existing “bear” enclosure with a larger one for a future animal, an outdoor petting zoo, a new path system, a learning plaza, a new water feature and a sculpture garden.
I was hoping there would be major changes to the zoo in this plan, but it looks like it will stay pretty much be the same. At least we know now what they are talking about when they refer to the "bear enclosure".
