Rarely seen events

Just came across this. Photos and video - a benefit of checking camera trap images immediately! - of a genet riding on the backs of rhinos and buffaloes. The researchers speculate that it does it to catch insects.

I'm not trying to portray them as new, that's why I said I had just found them. I checked this thread and it hadn't been mentioned here, and it certainly belongs. Not sure if the video was posted in that thread.

For the first time in 12 years, a Nile Crocodile has been seen on the Djuma webcam. It moved in a few nights ago and has been hanging around the last few days, and is busy eating all the local terrapins

 
I found a link to another video of a wild three-toed sloth giving birth. That female, too, quickly grabbed the baby during birth before it fell down.
