Just looked at Cotswold WP website and it looks like there's no restriction on numbers. They encourage etickets and point out that they are cheaper but don't seem to insist on them.
We encourage visitors to purchase E-tickets to minimise cash handling. E-tickets are cheaper than tickets bought at the gate. Click here to purchase your E-Tickets online. (Please Note: Online E-Tickets cannot be purchased on the day of your visit, therefore please buy E-Tickets up to midnight the day before your visit).

Says it all doesn't it, I've been a fellow for a very long time now and they seem to mess a lot of things up, so why should we be surprised that this went wrong
Based on what they have posted on other social media I think they just need a bit more time to get their website up to date. They will have a cap on numbers:

300 visitors in a zoo the size of Dudley is ridiculous, my local supermarkets let in 100 at once, indoors in an area equivalent to Dudley's chimp enclosure!Dudley Zoo & Castle will be reopening on Monday 15th June. Tickets are only available online and only available for the date and time chosen at the time of booking. Numbers of visitors limited to 300 per day initially. They would prefer if car park tokens were purchased online so they don't have to handle cash. If you already have a ticket (e.g. Adopters and Members) you need to contact them to book the date and time you'd like to visit. No land train, chairlift or funfair operating. Toilets are open but catering facilities are not. No indoor walk through areas open. Access via the turnstile entrance on Castle Hill. More information on the Zoo's website.
We will be opening again soon! – Dudley Zoo and Castle
Did you pay for them?Managed to get tickets for whipsnade for Monday, took a while and lots of frustration, clearly the level of traffic on the site caused the issues.
Roll on Monday now.
Sorry should have said we are members.Did you pay for them?
That makes me even more annoyed, I think I will take up the extension on my fellowship renewal after all! ZSL are totally incompetent, I've even booked a visit to somewhere I wouldn't normally go to on principle ( the owner is a hypocrite but his zoos are OK!) as I want to go to zoos! I won't make a single donation to ZSL until I get in to Whipsnade and going by their s**t website that will be a while!!Sorry should have said we are members.
Make that 2 zoos owned by a hypocrite! I am going to both next week, I obviously have no shame, but the zoos I pump money into don't seem to care anyway! At the moment going to A zoo is what matters whoever owns it! And they ARE both zoos whether he likes it or not! That makes me even more annoyed, I think I will take up the extension on my fellowship renewal after all! I have booked and paid for tickets for 2 other zoos I have no direct affiliation to without any issue and could buy tickets or membership to several others, but one of the biggest that takes £150 a year off me does not have the capability to give me a free ticket, pathetic!!

Just looking at there booking pages they are going for 300 a day till the second week of July then 600 for a few days then 1000 per day till august which does seem very low when you think Twycross is going for 2000 a day now and ramping up to 3000 next month. I wonder if the local council is having an influence on the caps as I would say the two zoos are of similar size so on a national scale would have a similar cap. I wouldn’t think 300 a day would help at all given the extra costs of staff etc incurded by opening and a predictable drop in donations once they are openYes, I thought they would have let more in. Their Facebook page said that initially the cap would be 300 a day, which infers that they will be aiming to increase it.
Anyone have an update on when the ZSL ticketing page will reopen...or is there more chance of Hell freezing over?
Don't worry I am 5342! You might get a ticket for July if you're lucky, I'm looking at December!!It's now a queue and I have a one hour wait with 3033 people in front if me![]()

I got to the front of the queue and directed to buy tickets! Nothing about free passes for members & Fellows!I gave up! After numerous attempts at logging into the system, it still spits me out. Thanks a lot ZSL!
