Real sea serpent video! The amazing oarfish in the wild.

I don't care if people think the word "awesome" is overused, that video was AWESOME!!

I've never seen one "facing" the camera (only side-on): I had no idea how thin they actually were!

Really amazing too watching the rippling of the dorsal fin to maintain its position.

Fantastic.

yes, their natural position in the water is vertical rather than horizontal as in "normal" fish.
 
I thought it was a fairly oar-dinary 9 minute video. I got b-oar-ed so please tell me what time I should scroll to for the action? :D

there is no action. It is just the fish doing its thing.
