Will Red Pandas return to BZ? It is tragic that the BZ Red Pandas died well before their typical life expectancy. Was a determination made as to what caused or contributed to their deaths? There are Facebook posts of Asian Zoos with multiple Red Pandas interacting with guests. Why are those Zoos successful and BZ was not?

There are long-term plans to bring back red pandas as part of a revitalization of the former bear grottos, but it won't happen for many more years. White-nosed coati have been moved into their former enclosure.
