I found some very interesting articles that could see a future in which there is still ice in the poles. All we need is a lot of titanium dioxide, a few balloons and rockets, technology, and somebody responsible to control it.

Generally, I think the environmental movement should embrace top-down, technology-based solutions to climate change, given that grass-roots efforts to influence attitudes and behaviour have failed.

Specifically, I'm not remotely qualified to comment.
