San Diego Zoo Remaining Hoof-Stock Species

I feel like san diego zoo just tries to get as many animals as they can which causes them to put some species in exhibits that are mislabeled. (Like in the outback Royal antelope, Bactrian camel, and more African gazelle)
I don't mind it! That just means more species to see. :)

Jusko88- I don't think there are Reticulated at the park, just Rothschild's Giraffes.
JBZBongo- I do mind that San Diego tries to get as many species as they can, because as others have mentioned on this forum, SD tries to get as many animals as possible, and shoves them into crappy exhibits (example: Malayan Tapirs in Tiger River)

I don't think the zoo has any of thoughs on exhibit except for the Japanese Serows (i forgot about thoughs). Maybe they have some of the others off exhibit! The zoo did have Red-flanked Duikers, but they are off exhibit. Also, the Blue Duiker exhibit is now the Koala exhibit. And for the Dik-Dik I don't know, but I'm posting picks right now! The good thing is that you with see most of the others at the Safari Park if you go. I have lots of pictures from the Safari Park!

Well those animals were there long before the labels were.

There pricing structure is ridiculous and confusing. The Africa Tram Safari package is a weird way to say "general admission plus use of Africa Tram ride and carousel."

In order to see Asia you need to book a Cart Safari or Caravan Safari but make sure you get the right one or you'll just be touring Africa in a different vehicle.

This price structure and the new constant upsell is the most incideous and insulting change the Zoo or Park has made to date.

Both Bronx Zoo and SDZSP have good reasons to charge money. They need money! But I do think the Safari Park has more of a reason to charge because they have amazing experiences that are worth the price.

The Bronx is in an economic slump. They have good reason to charge you for Congo Gorilla Forest, as all proceeds go to conservation in the real Congo. However, as discussed in other threads, the Bronx is probably adding to the admission price instead of charging people to see JungleWorld, Wild Asia Monorail, and the Children's Zoo. For SDZAP's caravan experiences where you feed animals, I can understand them pricing that. But if they're charging you to go on a tram ride where you just see wildlife, I believe that's wrong.
