Reptilandia - Reptile Lagoon News and notes

I will try my best, the list is a little bit hard since they use electronic scroll screen to show certain species, I would say that's annoying
That is certainly a bit annoying - I was under the impression that they were touch screens, for some reason.

Finally was able to visit and had a few things to share.

The babies in the nursery are currently Taylor's Shield-Tailed Agamas, A Green Bush Viper, 2 Western Bearded Anoles, 2 Crocodile Monitors, a Madagascan Spotted Diving Skink, and several Western Girdled Lizards.

a few species that are no longer on display are the Saharan Horned Vipers, Drakensburg Crag Lizards and the Spencer's Monitor(this one really hurt as the spencer's was the main reason for my visit, sadly I confirmed with the owner that they no longer have the spencer's...) A trio of Dumeril's Boas have taken up the old spencer's Monitor enclosure. Several enclosures where empty with no signage or inhabitants. The exhibit that formerly held axolotl and Cliff Anole now has a Ridley's Cave Racer. Some other species have swapped enclosures, for example the Perentie and Sungazer are now in the Temperate Building.

another new species, upstairs is a juvenile Lesser Antillean Iguana, which is in one of the central wall enclosures across from the butterfly lizards.

Another cool new addition is a Tenerife Giant Lizard(Gallotia galloti) in the temperate building.

I'm thinking of making a full species list if I get some free time.
