I've just uploaded a few pics from this safari park near narbonne in Southern France (including a very chilled out Zebra!!)

It was a fairly bog standard place, but an enjoyable day out nonetheless...

Any questions, fire away....

Hi everyone I'm going to France next Sunday and I will be visiting Reserve Africaine de Sigean(for the second time)if anyone wants any particular animal photographed I will take a picture and post it on ZooChat:D:rolleyes:

when I recently visited there seemed to be juvenile Asian black bears, ankole cattle(extremely recent birth, it was still in quarantine), Somali wild ass, Vietnamese pottbellies, to name a few.

@longleat diego- Perhaps try and get a pic of the Asian black bear infant, in the area beside the exit of the drive-through area for the bears.

According to signage, they only hold/held Reticulated giraffe, both in the drive-thorough and walk-round areas.

They have a very large group of Kordofan giraffe (2012: 1.1 were born, see also above), 13 at the last count. The reticulated giraffe group is only 1.2.

I saw 2 giraffes in the walk around area, But by all means there could of been a third indoors. There were quite a lot (quite possibly 13, and at least 1 young) in the drive around area.

Looking at the map again, it says 'Girafes' in the walk-round area and 'Girafes du niger'(which I believe is french for west african giraffe).

No baby bear there seem to be an old individual in that enclosure the giraffes are fine some baby ones I'll post the pictures another day

0.1 White Rhino was born 20/11/2013 (the 2nd birth at the park) Calf has been offshow since then and hence the announcement was delayed until now
