Return Trips

I'm in the lucky position of living 1-2 hours drive away from a number of zoos: Marwell, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Whipsnade, New Forest Wildlife Park, Chessington, Monkey World, Bristol and Twycross. I visit these zoos at least once a year, although as I'm most interested in primates I visit Twycross and Monkey World every two or three months.

As I'm originally from Scotland, I have been to Edinburgh and HWP and I really want to get back to see Mercedes' new enclosure and the new chimps in Budongo.

I'm planning to visit Colchester and Howletts this year. Also on my wish list are PL, Chester and YWP.

I don't get up to my local zoo (Belfast) as often as I'd like as I do still live quite a distance away from it. And nobody else in my family actually wants to go so they'd just leave me (sometimes my cousin too) on our own there and we'd do our own thing. It's better that way.
But usually up there about 15 times a year....give or take.

Dublin zoo I go to about twice a year....usually once in Easter and then once in the summer.

I wish I lived within spitting distance of both!! That would be good good.

I've also recently been to Paradise Wildlife Park and London Zoo for the first time which was great fun, definatly return to them. I'd go back to a lot of zoos if I had the chance.
Oh and some of the main zoos on my 'visit list' include:

Chester
Colchester
Longleat
Marwell
Whipsnade
Edinburgh

as well as others.
