San Antonio Zoo Review of San Antonio Zoo and Aquarium

I agree that some exhibits in zoos don't meet needs, but not nearly as much as some people on here seem to think. Space is the biggest issue. The only reason animals have such a large territory in the wild is because they need that space to find food. In zoos animals are given food, so they don't need huge spaces.
 
Exactly. Most general public does not know these facts. Also captivity versus the wild in longevity.
