Just wondering if anybody had any pictures of the old rhino paddock which i believe is where the baboons now are?

Also is the new leopard enclosure taking up the anteater (used to be maned wolf, jackal) enclosure? If so i think personaly its a shame

The old rhino paddock was where the Gelada's are now though I only vaguely remeber this as that was when I was young :)

The original rhino paddock was either on the site of the current gelada enclosure or where the picnic area is above the seals. I suspect the former, as they arrived around the time the rhinos moved into the mixed exhibit. It was a very basic bunker-like house (think Marwells old building but smaller) and I can't imagine what they'd have done if the rhino had bred there. The paddock was fairly small, but for some reason a lot of the enclosure was grassy for much of the year ( I suspect the sloping areas were not used by the rhinos so much). The barrier was also very low, and I often wondered how easy they would be able to escape.
