Ueno Zoo Rhino Attacks Keepers In Japan ....

I just did some basic Google searches, and it seems it is an annual event (or biannual in some reports) which has become a popular attraction in its own right, especially amongst school-children apparently. Animals that have featured include rhinos, orangutans, zebras, tigers and lions (and probably polar bears but I didn't search exhaustively).
 
I have actually just cried laughing - especially the guy who panics and faints (or is possibly tasered by his mate - it's hard to tell) :O)

it's a female rhino I think as it has blue eyeshadow and lovely lash enhancing mascara and although I've seen guys wearing both eyeshadow and fake lashes I have to admit it's not an everyday occurance!
 
The quirkiness of the Japanese is unrivaled! I love how detailed the rhino was, right down to ears that swivel.

I seriously think though they're doing it as a show to attract visitors and news attention. How could flimsy nets and sticks possibly stop a charging 2-tonne rhino?!
