Australia Zoo is pleased to announce the birth of our second rhino calf, a beautiful baby girl!
The gorgeous female calf, born yesterday, Thursday 7 February at AEST 11.30am, is the first offspring for Australia Zoo's rhino, Inyeti and DJ. She also arrived just in time for Valentine's Day.

To celebrate the new arrival, we are offering the public a chance to name the gorgeous new calf in a Facebook competition!

Great news. nobody's mentioned it and it's not in the article and my knowledge of australian zoos is poor, so what species is it?

wow thats great news and a female is awsome they will have a nice heard there now 2 breeding females a breeding male and 2 female calfs great!!! isnt cabale pregnint ageain?

Caballe is again pregnant, a real baby maker that one. This will be her fifth calf, two sons and two daughters so far. Inyeti and Dj are particularly vital as they are the only surviving calves of their parents.

Is that really its official name or just the one they call it by.
