On January 24th, the aquarium announced they are opening a new exhibit for two-toed sloths called Sloth Valley, which will open in late spring 2023.
It was also announced that the aquarium will be renovating the Discovery Center, adding a new play structure as well as "new immersive experiences and hands-on animal encounters". The Discovery Center will also open in late spring 2023.

On July 16th, 2024, the aquarium announced they acquired a (0.1) green sea turtle named Bandit from the Georgia Sea Turtle Center in Georgia.

Here’s how you can identify these FIN-nominal sharks. 
That's actually really surprising to hear! And great news too since that species is rare in captivity (from what I heard) and actually became even rarer in the states last year when Adventure Aquarium lost their last individual.
Having been to this Aquarium today, I can also confirm this. In fact, it’s actually awesome to hear they’re greaters, as not only was the worker I asked unsure of the species, but this species sighting marks a first for me!
