The zoo has two wallaby joeys just starting to poke their heads out of their mothers' pouches.

Two more meerkat pups have been born. These two are still with the mob.

Pablo is out on exhibit with the sloth and squirrel monkeys. There was only one so i presume brother diego is not there

3 red billed hornbill chicks have hatched and are now starting to fledge.

Was there today window was taped off so can't see chicks. Also one sloth only was seen and only one barrel in exhibit now. Capybara was not in exhibit either but there was an agouti instead.

The zoo has a new male takin, Yao-Ming, from Edmonton. He and Quinton have hit it off and a female is being imported later in the year to join the boys and begin breeding.

They have hatched the second ever successful Sulawesi forest turtle in Canada.

A new female river otter named Melissa has joined male otter Splish. She came from Safari Niagara.

The zoo has several wallaby joeys beginning to emerge from the pouch.

Pablo the capybara has not left the zoo. A miniature donkey died a month ago and there are some new goeldi monkeys

The good thing for the zoo in Quentin's death is that Edmonton has more babies this year so their brother can get a companion probably soon enough.

Edmonton always has takins to give away, lol. If I had to guess I'd say at least have of canadas takin population has been produced in Edmonton.
