Could the Indian muntjac be moved in with the red-crowned cranes?
I do think the potential for tiger cubs is underestimated as a crowd thing. Aside, it would be just to improve the tiger accomodation to the point they have at least 2 separate exhibits, male and female with cubs (and an off-exhibit further separation area).Does the zoo have to breed tigers? Can't they keep surplus/geriatric individuals and not breed them?
I've wondered this for a while- as the two species have definitely been mixed before. I'd like this to happen as it fixes a geographical inaccuracy. Muntjac can also be mixed with red pandas.Could the Indian muntjac be moved in with the red-crowned cranes?

Did they used to keep Indian Muntjac? I seem to remember that being the species held by Roger Williams. They could, but that's clearly not what the zoo wants to do nor is it the best for them publicity wise. Tiger cubs bring in more guests than a camel does.
The zoo doesn't have Indian muntjac, they have Reeves's. And yeah they could mix them if they wanted to.

Another One?!On March 4th, the zoo announced that a (0.1) golden lion tamarin named Boudica has been born.

I don't know what happened to them, but they left the zoo years ago. I have no idea whether they died or moved to another facility, but they definitely are no longer kept by the zoo.Does anybody know what happened to the Chinese Alligators at the zoo?
