We made our first visit to Rosamond Gifford Zoo today and had a really nice time Syracuse really has itself a nice little zoo.For a small zoo to have pulled off an elephant exhibit like they have is truly remarkable it is very impressive.The Elephants were all very active today making great use of their expansive yard.One of the best things about the exhibit is the barn it is huge and considering Syracuse can have rather harsh winters the barn is very accomodating for its elephants only being rivaled perhaps by Columbus.Other exhibits that we really enjoyed were Humbolt Penguins,Amur Tigers,Patas Monkeys and fossas.The only real disapointing exhibits had to be the Meerkats and Lions.
