No, sorry... it's the same list as above per what I see...
It takes a while to load properly, but I get the whole list - species list; species by exhibit; and animal names.
Ok, here we go:
Should still have 0.1 Six-banded Armadillo "Abby"? Also tenrec 1.0 "Wilbur"? Thick-billed Parrot 0.1 "Julia"?
Red Kangaroos I believe are Flux and Jordan, both male.
Pelican is either Zamboni or Montana, I don't know which one passed away.
Black-crowned Cranes: Kiwi 1.0, Susie 0.1
American Flamingo: Tiki 1.0
Also Blue Hawaiian, Margarita, Daquari, Mai Tai, Rocket, Taylor
Fulvous Whistling Duck Ambassadors: Poseidon, Hermes, Athena (3.0)
Spur-thighed Tortoise 1.0 "Bubba"
Might have a couple more at some point.

Received a 'thank you for your support' letter from the zoo today, mentioned the additions of alligators and squirrel monkeys. Also apparently Axolotl and Naked Mole Rat are coming to the reptile house, among others.
Also mentioned are Galapagos Giant Tortoises, I don't know where they could put those other than the reptile house lawn?

Likely but also maybe the land section of the South Lake? Gators probably don't need all that. I haven't been told anything so I'm just speculating.
Possible, but I think they'd need more land space than that. Given tortoises need heated housing in cold temperatures, I don't feel that area is big enough.
Galapagos tortoises would be cool, and a first for the zoo. There did used to be Aldabra tortoises across the street at Fairytale Town.
It's worth noting that lately occasionally when going onto the Sac Zoo website a popup appears asking for donations to help "renovate exhibits and bring amazing new species to the Sacramento Zoo" in 2020. This popup was usually accompanied by a picture of a giant tortoise. I considered bringing this up but figured as nothing was confirmed I ought not to. Sometimes though a sloth picture appeared. Maybe we'll be also getting a new sloth species or sloth habitat?

New sloth exhibit, maybe... be great if you could actually see the Sloth with some regularity! Hands down the animal I've seen the least at Sac Zoo, despite them having the species as long as I can remember...
- Bert the hawk-headed parrot is off exhibit
- A new hut has been built near the zoo's entrance to showcase animal ambassadors
- A new exhibit has been added near the end of the reptile house, but is currently uninhabited (the exhibit is clearly not for axolots or naked mole-rats)
I knew I forgot something! @Arizona Docent will be happy to hear the zoo once again hands out maps.
Hawk-headed parrots are beautiful birds. I had forgotten about them until I saw it here then I remembered we used to have a pair in the South America aviary at my local zoo.
Visited today and several things of note.
Alligator pond is progressing quickly, I think their Spring opening date will likely be accurate.
Flamingos are starting courtship behavior, hopefully they will breed successfully again this year.
Similarly, the roadrunners are nest building again in a corner of the Thick-billed Parrot aviary.
Orangutans, Wolf's Guenons, and River Otters were offshow as zoo staff were working with a tree trimming company to trim the enormous oak that spreads above the area. Should be only a day closure.

Reptile House
- Smallwood's Anole and Mexican Beaded Lizard onshow but unsigned. Baja Blue Rock Lizard and Santa Catalina Rattlesnake also unsigned but keeper chat signs provided a name.
- First exhibit of the reptile house is finally completed and according to signs in the window will be home to a Red-tailed Boa. Personally I find that choice rather disappointing.
- Henkel's Leaf-tailed Gecko/Tomato Frog exhibit is under renovation, completely barren. Chinese Crocodile Lizard exhibit is still under construction, and mostly incomplete.
- The Green Tree Python looked in poor condition. It was on the branch up next to the glass, but the loops were loose and the body looked saggy. The end 1/3 was just hanging off the branch in atypical fashion for a tree-dwelling python. Honestly I was wondering if it was even alive, I couldn't see any movement at all.
- I was extremely disappointed to see several large American Cockroaches eating the Flat-tailed Tortoises food. My guess is they accidentally came in with the leaf litter and have since prospered.
Leaf litter is usually put into an oven to kill off any bacteria and unwanted invertebrates before being place in enclosures, so they could've just slipped in through cracks in the enclosure.
