Creep implies an area within an exhibit only accessible for small species, to be away from big ones if they feel so inclined. Some species planned to be included on the savanna is either shy or particularly small, would be the take-away there.
I like how there is kind of a tropical Americas area stretched throughout the "Green Corridor" with capybaras, squirrel monkeys, Galapagos tortoises, and alligators. I'm not sure why that exhibit theme is not enunciated. Maybe it gives them more flexibility if different species end up getting exhibited in this zone as the actual plans are developed.

Red Pandas Basu and Amaya welcomed twins on June 15th! The birth raises the zoo's number of red pandas to six! The twins have been named "Keahi" (Hawaiian for fire) and "Kesari" (Bangladeshi for lion), and just made their public debut earlier this week!

Where are you getting this? There's nothing about how many they have in the post or comments. Last I was aware the twins made five.

I found this article from only two months ago that they had four adult red pandas - Basu, Amaya, Takeo, and Pili, so adding two cubs would make six. One of the adult pandas must have passed away quite recently they only have five of them now.

Elderly Takeo passed away sometime last winter - the zoo only had three in June when the twins were born. Per ages, I'm aware the article would have been written last year, despite being posted two months ago.

You are right, the article was re-uploaded one year to the day it was first published. I emailed the zoo a few hours ago and got a response and they confirmed that Takeo passed away back in late-March.

The zoo's map has been updated to include the Rhinoceros and take away the Chimpanzees plus a few other changes, notably the giraffes now look more themselves in real life.
Also, the flamingos are now where the chimps used to be.

Yes they were, but the new Sacramento Zoo (opening around 2027) plans to house an African ape, possiblu Chimpanzees.

Um, do you have a source for that? None of the stuff I've seen on the new zoo specifies chimpanzees as part of the plan. While there's a chance that could be the unspecified "African ape", I wouldn't suggest assuming it is chimpanzees without confirmation.
This time, there actually is a source with the updated renderings (see under "New Map"), although "African Ape" could go either way between chimps, gorillas and bonobos - unless they plan on displaying the elusive koolakamba...
Per a zoo news email, the flamingos will be going off display again for further renovations to the old Chimpanzee exhibit. Primarily this involves adding a new large pool, so apparently the setup will be largely permanent. Would be cool if they were able to include an Ibis species or Boat-billed Herons to add something extra.

Chifu is male, not female, so it would be 1.0.
