Exactly, it's a park that is not part of EAZA, UIZA (Italian association) or WAZA, it does everything on its own or with the Safari Park Ravenna (if I remember the owner is the same)

Any idea what kind of chimps they have?
(Not registered in the studbook ..)

Ravenna's Safari Park doesn't give any informations, all the animals they have always come from Fasano's Safari Park, it's like a 2nd Fasano's Safari Park where the animals go when they are in a huge number there
 
News from Safari Ravenna

0.3 Asiatic Elephants arrived from Pairi Daiza.
0.2 African Elephants went to Safari Fasano (property of the same circus company of Safari Ravenna).
 
I just found out a few noteworthy details on their chimpanzee group. Piko mentioned in the past (2016) that the Safari Ravenna was may have received their chimpanzee from Fasano.

Well it turns out that already in 2015 genetic research conducted on this group indicated the group belonged to the highly endangered West African subspecies verus and constituted a genetic line unrepresented in the European EEP ex situ programs.

Following these results and on the advice of the EAZA EEP committee the group was re-arranged and the male from this group was transferred to Ostrava Zoo as a new breeding male. In 2017 they also organised a meeting Pan Italia meeting for chimpanzee ex situ conservation. March 2019 saw the introduction of two new male chimpanzee males Jasper (hybrid) and Nickel (verus) from Welsh Mountain Zoo. It is hoped this new group will now reproduce. In 2019 the park celebrated its first World Chimpanzee Day - under the Jane Goodall Institute umbrella.

Their verus-chimpanzees (1,5) came from a private breeder in Hönow, Brandenburg, Germany in 2015 (0,5) and 2017 (1,0).
