Police are hunting a male Chimpanzee who is currently on the loose in Majorca after escaping from his enclosure at Sa Coma along with a female. The female was later shot dead whilst the male remains at large

The spanish press has reported that the male chimpanzee Adam was found drowned in a water treatment plant. Adam had avoided capture from the spanish police and Guardia Civil for at least 3 days. He must have been very thristy and slipped in a large pool where he was found dead. Various groups are asking that the safari park be closed for criminal neglience. Eve, the female chimp was shot down a few hours after the escape. This all a very lamentable event.
