Safaripark Beekse Bergen Safaripark Beekse Bergen

I googled Longleat's hippo/sealion lake. It is called Half Mile Lake, and apparently that is its length (so about 0.8km long).

I did quick calculations on google map and the lake is almost exactly 2 kilometers long and is on average at least 40 meters broad.

The sea lion group at Longleat currently consists of one male (Buster), a few females (Nancy, Molly, Zook, Jo-Jo) and two babies (Bell and a relatively new baby whose name I can't remember). So assuming the Beekse group is breeding their group will be bigger.

The youngest one at Longleat is called Roo

I know they had planned to obtain some new species for the new desert-enclosure so this is well possible, will check it later in the year myself.
