Taman Safari Bogor Same species or different?

I found a Instagram post that shows this bamboo rats.

Do you guys think this are the same species or different?
The white rat have black eyes, so it's not a albino.

Because Bamboo Rats are farmed for food they have had a lot of mutations created in the process. The two photos are probably the same species, but with a white individual you can't really tell from a photo because the distinguishing features (i.e. colour and pattern) are not present.

The only bamboo rat species that was farmed for food was the Chinese bamboo rat (Rhizomys sinensis). Ever since the pandemic started, bamboo rat farming has been banned in China. Someone on Instagram offered me a pair of white Chinese bamboo rats for IDR 150k per animal since they've been exporting the rats out from their country. Some are culled as well.

I always thought they only breed Rhizomys sinensis. BTW they make good pets, but their bites are hella painful. (I mean, those fangs could scrape your skin off, and not to mention the risk of zoonosis infection from its bite if it's unvaccinated)

For some reason, they kinda remind me of Raticate. It is possible that Raticate was based of bamboo rats
