Wildheart Animal Sanctuary sandown zoo in 80's

I went to the zoo in the 80's.

was there a baby elephant at the zoo. But i can not remember the name of it help.

I have vague memories of a small African elephant in a pen on the right of the building as you came into the grounds , sorry I cannot help with a name . I think it might have been on loan . I have checked the Elephant database - Elephants Encyclopedia - facts and information about elephants since 1995 - but it is not listed . There are a few people with vast knowledge of UK elephants who might be able to help .

This animal was named Marjorie and is still alive and well at Beauval in France. She was owned by the Chipperfields at the time and was loaned to the Isle of Wight Zoo for the 1989 summer season.
