Sad news

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circustmances, our wolf Max sadly had to be euthanized. Her sister Mel was doing well without her sibling, however due to wolfs needing to be in a pack, this is not sustainable long term.

We have made the decision for Mel to join a loan wolf at Exmoor Zoo.

We will take this time to enhance our enclosure and to double it in size to allow us to home future wolf packs. Keep an eye on our socials for updates and we wish Mel all the best in her new home.

Shame they didn't check their spelling:rolleyes:
Good news about them wanting to carry on keeping wolves, Max & Mel have plenty of brothers still at Longleat so maybe one of them could join in the future once the extension has been completed.

I would hope the zoo eventually acquire true Mid European/Scandinavian wolves (as per the EEP/EAZA breeding program).
