Hi every one. This is my first time on this site so I decided to join. I don't have that much going on in my life right now. The summer brings quite for me in my mountain cabin. I enjoy animal watching,birding, hiking trials, skiing in the winter, and just getting on my bike and going to a new place. But most of all I love animals and zoos. I haven't went to many zoos but a good handful like San Diego and Houston. I have a small reptile collection that is slowly growing. I hope to breed the rarest ones so they will be listed as CB one day instead of imported. My collection right now consists of:
1.1.0 Mali Uromastyx CB
2.3.1 Crested Gecko of many morphs CB
1.0.0 Ball Python CB
0.1.0 Western Hog Nose Snake CB
0.1.0 Kenyan Sand Boa CB
1.1.3 African Bullfrogs or Pyxie Frogs CB and one unknown
0.1.0 Chilean Rose Hair CB
0.1.1 Emperor Scorpion CB
I'm currently interested in Sheltopusik/Ophisaurus apodus. I understand they are always WC at this point and there nearly impossible to sex but You have to start somewhere and there becoming increasingly popular. If I could contain a group of them it would be a dream come true. Although I know the breeding might be only a fantasy, I might just find something out. I do know males have a larger head but I can't be sure since I will not know there age.
