Lady and Pepe were brought to New Zealand in the same shipment as Sinka and Kline, who were sent to Auckland Zoo. They were all born at Sea Life Park Hawaii. Like all California sea lions born in the Northern hemisphere, their dates of birth are in June/July; in the Southern hemisphere, California sea lions are born in December.
Mackintosh was born at Auckland Zoo to Leadbelly and Cassie. Leadbelly was also the sire of Liquorice, who sired several pups to Sinka and Kline.
Rosey and Cody were sent to Auckland Zoo in 2001 to join their three sea lions (Scuttles, Keel and Kipper) in the new exhibit. They returned to Marineland in 2002/2003 for breeding.
Cody died of a uterine infection in 2006, caused by the death of her unborn pup.
Orion and Dakota were the last California sea lions held at Marineland. They were exported in 2014, following it's closure in 2008.

Do you know why Holly, Loukas, Trinity and Rufus all died young?
Were all the males bred left intact? If not, they must have had a lot of exhibits.
Lady, Pepe, Rosey and Makea lived long lives!
According to the online database, their causes of death were as follows:
Holly - drowned
Loukas - died after operation; no breathing reflex
Trinity - Secondary peritonitis; oesophaegal rupture
Rufus - undetermined
Makea was intact; but I believe some of the other males were castrated. Like you say, it'd be difficult to house them all together; though I have vague memories of multiple (small) exhibits.
Did Mackintosh and Liquorice have the same mother? You only said they had the same sire (Leadbelly).
Also was that was a typo that Causey died the day he arrived?
