It's been since at least last year, I have them on my AZA list already and haven't updated it yet this year.

Interesting, I wonder why they decided to make the post just yesterday? Well, regardless, that is a good sign for them.

They have been accredited for five years, zoos have to reapply for accreditation every five years so it was time for them to apply again, and they received accreditation again. The announcement does make it sound like they are being accredited for the first time, but this is not the case.
