Blackpool Zoo has a large number of sea lions housed in a recently refurbished pool, large and spacious with a new penguin exhibit adjacent, worth a visit.

Thanks, I dont ever remember going to Blackpool zoo - I may have done when I was younger but I cant remember it.

When the weather is better I will make a trip there and take a look :)

Colchester Zoo has a good enclosure, too. There is outdoor viewing as well as a walk-through tunnel and big underwater viewing windows.

The two places already mentioned are probably the best enclosures in the country but if it's variety you're after the National Seal Sanctuary in Cornwall is worth a visit (they've got, per the website, three species of Seal and two of Sealion).

Also worth a visit (in it's own right as well as for the Fur Seals) is Bristol Zoo, almost on your doorstep.

Longleat, just down the road from you, has more space for its Sealions than anywhere else in the UK, and I believe, reasonable breeding & longevity records. Passable Common Seals at Weymouth Sealife, and the same organisation's 'rescue' setup at Gweek.

Obviously some exhibits are better than others but,

Chessington
Longleat
Whipsnade
Welsh Mountain Zoo (Wales)
Knowsley
Blair Drummond (Scotland)
Dudley
Colchester
Blackpool
Gweek
Living Coasts

I could go on....but there are plenty of decent exhibits to go visit. :)
