I'm looking for a theme song for giraffe conservation/research.

So far I've found "This Here Giraffe" by the Flaming Lips. Does anybody else have any suggestions?

Has anybody here written a giraffe song? There don't seem to be many of them out there.

I'm struggling to think of any, but my advice would be to ask Gerald Girafferty to help out

The British Composer Malcolm Arnold wrote a sequel to Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals that has a Giraffe movement.

A few options.....

"20 feet tall" by Erykah Badu (R&B)
"Tall Tale of a G" by Z-RO (Rap)
"Long Neck Bottle" by Garth Brooks (Country)
"Tale of the Tongue" by Peter Murphy (Gothic Alternative Rock)
"Head in the Clouds" by Backseat Goodbye (Pop Folk)
"Legs" by ZZ top (Classic Rock)

These probably don't help you since they have nothing to do with giraffe's but I thought the titles might work, lol. Not sure what kind of music you're into so I took a broad stroke. A song title search engine was my friend on this one as I've only heard of three of these.....

what about "Africa" by Toto?

I associate "It's My Life" by Talk Talk with animals because of the video.

No Doubt did a cover of that song as well, and that leads me to a sort of oblique reference to giraffes with the title of one of their other songs "Don't Speak"

Didn't Cliff Richard do a song called 'The Tongue Ones'?
Pink Floyd's 'See Emily Splay' could also have been about a giraffe, a pastiche on Iron Maiden's 'Bring your daughter to the water'.
