According to this ticket broker (Discount SeaWorld Tickets - OrlandoFunTickets.com) Sea World Orlando is closing Shamu Stadium until April 7th 2014. Does anybody knows why?
They are doing renovations on some if not all of the tanks.
According to the article on the link below overall revenue only increased due to a price increase. SeaWorld actually saw a drop of almost 10% in summer attendance (second quarter) and a drop of 3.5% in the third quarter of 2013. Nearby Disney World saw record attendance while SeaWorld does in fact seem to have been hurt by the Blackfish controversy. It will be interesting to see what 2014 brings.

The park recently had a stillbirth. The mother was Bossa. I'm not sure that she made it either.
What species?

I looked up "Seaworld Orlando Bossa" on Google, and it seems as if Bossa and her stillbirth are Bottlenose Dolphins.

I checked. Cetabase has her listed as having died on April 26, 2014. She was a Bottlenose Dolphin.

Virgin America has dropped SeaWorld from one of its rewards programs, don't know what this means/will mean, or whether it is connected with the other Virgin brands.

SeaWorld has laid off the Clyde and Seamore Mimes. They are also eliminating a pearl diving show. I had no idea they had a pearl diving show.
