It wouldn't have to be something fancy, maybe a passive solar one. Besides, with the water crisis going on in Southern California the whole region might have to resort to this anyway, if only with large public ones. It would have to make just enough to impress the public. But then if the whole region was resorting to this they would be getting desalinated water anyway.

I know of at least one plan for a large-scale desalination plan in Southern California, so it sounds like it may not be necessary.

Seriously though, a small working scale model might make an interesting exhibit, maybe a solar still. It could be fit into a conservation message.

Kalia was seen mating with Ulises multiple times but she was later conceived with AI with the use of his sperm.
 
Alas no, my bet is that there will be a poll to name what I have heard referred to as "Baby K" that I will not be allowed to participate in as I do not do facebook.

Incidentally, has she met the rest of the Killer Whales, including her father and grandfather?

Right now SeaWorld has a sign out in front of the display tank asking for peace and quiet to allow the calf to bond with Kalia. I do believe the calf has been introduced to some other whales,as at the time I went, she was swimming with Kalia, and I saw Makani and one other adult whale who I can only assume was Ulisses in the same tank.
