Sending a private message

Sorry for how basic this question probably is, but I'm trying to figure out how I can send a private message to get into the Discord server. When I go to somebody's profile I don't see anything obvious. Nothing about sending a private message or starting a conversation or anything like that. I don't see an option to start a new conversation in my inbox either.

As an anti-spam measure, new members can't sent private messages, nor can they access the Discord server.

Once you've been a member for a while and posted more on the forums, you'll automatically be granted PM access.
