Pinola should have Pied Avocet as well.

New England Aquarium I believe has Piping Plover.

San Diego has African Jacana, they do not have pratincole (not on-exhibit anyway).

~Thylo

Great, good to know. They had pratincole in '17 into '18, did you see it then?

Collared Pratincole - ZooChat
Indeed I did :)

As far as I can tell, the zoo received two from Pinola Aviary at the end of 2017 for the Africa Rocks Aviary. They also received painted-snipe from them but these never made it on-exhibit before passing. I did see one pratincole at the zoo in January 2018 and I don't know how long they lasted after that, but when I visited this past August there was no sign of them.

Nice!

Interesting information, guess we got lucky seeing the pratincoles then! Pity the painted snipes never made it on display.

I'm not sure Bay Beach still has Common Tern. That one should probably have a question mark after it.

There are no zoos permanently keeping Great Lakes Piping Plover, that includes Lincoln Park. Lincoln Park, NEW, Toledo, and one other facility I do not know all regularly take in rescues but do not keep any permanently.
