are those the ones that used to live in Frozen Tundra?
Yes they used to live at Frozen Tundra. The 0.3 at the Creatures of the Night show are quite elderly now.
Have they announced any long-term plans for the former polar bear exhibit?
Not yet. They are still looking at a couple of options.
What possibilities do you see for it, Zooish? Is it suitable for exhibiting a pinniped species? Does the zoo have any ambitions to get some other bear species in there?
My understanding is that they are looking at redeveloping the existing sealion exhibit rather than moving the sealions to the old polar bear exhibit. And as far as i am aware there are no plans to bring in grizzlies/brown bears.
So the old polar bear exhibit might be repurposed for something else altogther. I'll share more if I hear of more concrete plans.
Is there any chance that they will bring back the wolverines in the future?
Great news: the gaur herd are finally back on display
On the tram ride, apparently.YES! where are they currently displayed?
On the tram ride, apparently.
The former first Dhole exhibit and Bearded Pig exhibit along the tram ride have been combined and remodeled to house the Gaur.
There are some new snakes inside the cave racer exhibit, anyone knows what species are those?
This fella and a two others which i am unsure of
Should be the Jungle Carpet Pythons (Morelia spilota cheynei)
