Singapore Zoos Species Questions

Cheers for that, do you know what zoo/s the rockhoppers came from?

I really don't know, my guess is one of the UK zoos. The pioneer Humboldts and Kings at the park were from the UK.

What subspecies of the following are held at the WRS parks:
-Rockhopper Penguin
-Eurasian Eagle Owl
-Colobus Monkey
-Hog Deer
-Gaur
-Banteng
-Markhor
-Bharal
-Bat-eared Fox

Off the top of my head:
- Thamin - P.eldii thamin
- Chimp - P.t.troglodytes

Rockhopper records are not accurate in ISIS.

Sadly, not the Siam Eld's deer. It is the only zoo outside Thailand that I would count on being able to hold and breed them properly.

interestingly enough, the Burmese Eld's deer at Singapore Zoo originally came from the Smithsonian National Zoo's Conservation and Research Center in Virginia: At the Zoo: Saving the Skittish Eld's Deer - National Zoo| FONZ
