In light of my coming trip I'd like to revive this thread. So far I've found these species in
Australian facilities:
-Dibbler (Perth Zoo)
-Phascogales (Red-tailed Phascogale at Perth, Taronga, etc.)
Probably at Small Native Mammal Teaching and Research Facility of Western Sydney university too
-Kultarr (Alice Springs Desert Park (still there?))
Maybe also at Small Native Mammal Teaching and Research Facility of Western Sydney university (haven't found the time to send them an e-mail about it yet)
-Dunnarts (Fat-tailed at Werribee, David Fleay, WILD LIFE Sydney (still there?), etc.; Stripe-faced and Sandhill Dunnart at Alice Springs Desert Park according to this
thread)
In
Europe:
-Kowari (
all over)
Does anyone know if this list is still correct?
How about
Mulgaras, Kaluta, Ningauis, Planigales, False Antechinuses or Antechinuses. Are any of them held anywhere (zoos, museums, unis, private) around Australia?
Are there species outside Australia other than Kowari? Any in America?
(Papuan Dasyures and Marsupial Shrews would be interesting too, but I'm assuming that they are not being held anywhere.)
