The "suspected leopard cub" in the article has the note "Experts are trying to identify the 'amazingly beautiful "kitten" with bright green eyes and stripes' among the trafficked animals." - there is a photo on the link: it is the kitten of a marbled cat!
There are also a couple of photos showing a slow loris and a gibbon, which I suspect are the "lemurs" and "monkeys".

There was also an actual monkey - baby crab-eater macaque.
And the Exotic Park that accepted animals is the same place that sells baby orangs.

Unbelieveble ! Such rare animals, hope they can be brought into good collections and provide an addition to the captive populations of their species.

Oh my! If this is in fact as you say a marbled cat, it is the only one in Europe right now! Amazingly valuable animal. Lets hope it survives, fit and healthy. And that we can bring some more individuals to Europe to keep a population of this vulnerable species going! Also exciting to see where it ends up. If it ends up being publicly exhibited in a zoo, it is only a question of time before Arizona Docent take the trip over the pond!

Apparently there were two baby crocodiles which were dead, otherwise all the animals in the suitcase were alive.

Don't get too excited. This cat will either perish or, more possibly, gets lost into unseen private trade (with death, autopsy & disposal being faked for Russian wildlife control).
And any thoughtful person would refrain from visiting a 'zoo' which exhibits obviously smuggled baby apes.
Admins, if you're reading this please open the closed thread 'Ekzootik Park' in Russia forums.
It was started by a spammer and closed, but I got some curious info about things happening in that zoo.
