Just had a look on line white tigers are in where african Lions used to be
Sorry, i thought you meant they had held African Lions elsewhere in the zoo since they were in what is now the white tiger enclosure. I think the white tiger has been in There zoo a while, certainly was in there a year ago.

0:0:1 Black Lemur born on the 7th of April to mum Louise and dad Bo. I didn't see the little lemur nor the jag when I visited but it know gives me the answer to why I couldn't go down to the indoor viewing area of either species.

2:0 Bactrian Camels have arrived from ZSL Whipsnade Zoo called 'Mo' and 'Navas'. They join the parks resident female 'Bashira'

0:1 Red Ruffed Lemur born on the 22nd of April and has been named 'Olana'. Her mother rejected her so is being hand-reared by keepers.

I looked on their facebook for updates on the Jaguar cub and see there are a couple more videos :) One posted on June 15 suggested it should be on public view 3 weeks from that date.

Saw Keira today, absolutely lovely and a real handful for mum! There's a sign up saying a "new" Jaguar enclosure is on it's way, although I wonder if it's just a renovation of the existing plot.
The Tigers were restricted to the inner section of their outdoor area, while work is being done to the rest of it.

The new jaguar enclosure is confirmed as a new area entirely, not just adapting the current enclosure. It will be attached to the smaller outside area in the undeveloped area between the group of meerkats the big cat (tiger/jag) house

Also there are 6 new ferret brothers in the farmyard (8wks old and very cute)!

+ the old fruit bat house is currently being reconstructed to become a new nocturnal house for other species too

Went on a visit today and was impressed with how the zoo has come on since my last visit approximately 5 years ago!

One question from the visit regular visitors might be able to answer is why is the Male White lion separated from the 3 females? Was this just a one off maybe? Also do the zoo still breed white lions?

"Sad News on our Beautiful Red Panda, Teajmunn

It is with a very heavy heart that we must announce the recent passing of a much-loved character at Paradise, our Red panda, Teajmunn.

Sadly, on the 12th December, Teajmunn passed away from an incurable illness. We are pleased we are able to say that he was not ill or suffering for a long period of time. Teajmunn was the grand age of 15 years old and has been cared for and loved at the park since his arrival in 2008.

Many people were lucky to have the pleasure of meeting Teajmunn and the delights of his ‘panda cake’ eating face! The keepers will miss Teaj terribly, but his memory and contribution to the conservation and awareness of his species, will forever live on in the four cubs that he fathered and that are now part of the European Breeding Programme and Global Species Management Plan.

Being a mainly solitary species, Tilly our female red panda is showing no ill effects from Teajmunn’s passing and can be seen lazing in the tree as usual!

In Teajmunn’ s honour, we will be continuing to celebrate our annual Red Panda Weekend this year on the 11th and 12th August where we will again be raising funds for the Red Panda Network and the amazing work they do for the wild panda populations in Nepal."

Saw a program on TVs last night and they said a jaguar cub at paradise wildlife park had been moved having rejected by its mum. Was this the cub born in May june2017 or another one

The one featured in the programme is a Black one, whereas Keira is not.
