Welsh Mountain Zoo Snow Leopard cubs

Has anybody had any good views of the Snow Leopard cubs yet?
Does the enclosure allow good views?
If they are in the old leopard enclosure, then I remember it as being pretty grim.

I believe so. Is the enclosure really that bad? Howletts keep their snow leopards in a similar-sized cage.

If it still the old leopard cage, it was terrible and I don't think its any where near the same size (although I havn't been in 5 years).

It still the same cage that use to be used to house both Persian and Black Leopards,but is now used to house just the Snow Leopards,admittedly the enclosure is now looking its age but its not as bad as some of you are trying to make out,I can think of at least 1 zoo in the U.K that has far worse Leopard enclosure`s than the Welsh Mountains.

I was thinking the same thing when I looked at a pic of it earlier. I've seen much worse.

Okay, so today there's been a report of a cheetah death, a tiger death and two snow leopards? This is awful.

for sure, hopefully szechuan and olitia will have another litter. i heard that one of the pandas and porcupines died from the same disease. wild rotents are to blame i think.

I spoke to a keeper when I went on Sunday. He said there are hopes for the pair of snow leopards to breed again this year after they lost their cubs to cowpox. He also said a red panda died of the disease.
