On the 10th of June, a snow leopard was born at Chester Zoo for the first time. The parents are Yashin and Nubra.

Two snow leopards were born at Bioparc de Doué-la-Fontaine on May 25th. A male named Akela and a female named Bahini. The parents are Armin and Warja.

does anyone know the ancestors of Armin? I know he was born in 2015 in Jihlava.

Their names are Darkhan and Khoomi. Darkhan moved to Krakow Zoo in February 2020 and still lives there. Khoomi moved to Orsa Predator Park in June 2020, which closed in 2022. In September 2023, he moved to Kolmardens Djurpark in Sweden.

Not that I know of. Esha moved from Jardin des Plantes to Dierenpark ZiE-ZOO in the Netherlands in July 2023, together with a male. Breeding attempts are being made there, but so far without success.

I don't know anything about a birth in 2017.

My bad, the studbook mentions a birth in 2017 but the cubs didn't survive. I ment the second litter in 2021 that also had two cubs. Thank you for the info about the 2019 litter!
Unfortunately, I know very little about the 2021 litter. One of them is a female, and she was still in La Torbiera until at least the end of 2023. I don't know where she is now. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the second cub.

I haven't seen or read anything about him moving or passing away, so as far as I know, he's still at Santillana del Mar. To my knowledge, he doesn't have any offspring.
It seems that Aleika was not a female after all, but a male (although I have not seen this confirmed anywhere yet). During their last few years in Chorzow, they were called Aslan and Amalia, a brother and sister according to the zoo. They have both moved to Brasov.
I have no information about him.
Arman moved to Safaripark Peaugres in 2019. Where he had one offspring in 2020 with a female named Lasya. This male was named Chakra and moved to Weisser Zoo in 2024.
Neko moved to Lumigny Safari Reserve in 2019. To my knowledge, he has not (yet) had any offspring there.
Karma moved to Zoo Szeged in 2023.
I haven't seen or read anything about her moving or passing away, so as far as I know, she's still there.
They are a male and a female.

The three cubs have been named Zhar, Zhyur and Zhyon. The names are of tibetan origin and mean Shadow, Star and Moon
Beauval received a male from Basel. It is Indus, 14 years. (Instagram)

Indus was indeed born at Zoo Basel but came to Beauval last June from Zoo Opole, where he had been living since 2012.
