I love both DAK and Busch Gardens for their animal habitats, but neither in my opinion are the best zoo in Florida. I think the Miami Metrozoo is the best in Florida and probably the best in the Southeast region of the country.

You are correct Okapikpr. North Carolina and Miami are in my opinion the two best zoos in the Southeast region of the nation.
@zsam4: that is old news my friend, and there are a number of photos of me petting Harapan in the ZooChat gallery.
Sorry for being late to reply to your reviews Snowleopard. Throughout most of your review, I will have to agree with you about the Jacksonville Zoo. I adore the African Section and ROJ. If you saw the Australia section, it would of most likely be in your average or Worst section of your review. Great Apes section has gotten better(only for one exhibit) and that is for Quito(the lone gorilla) as his habitat has gotten alot more trees and plants for him and his room mates. His home barren most likely it was the winter and not the best time for planting and they added climbing structures(only 3) for the colobus monkeys(major improvement from their old home by the lions). He also got 2 new females, as you probably know already. As for the Siamangs, they will leave that exhibit for new exhibit once the zoo starts working on Monsoon Asia on a couple of islands by the tigers. As I said before, you have pretty much sum up the Jacksonville Zoo, but I adore the zoo a little more since it is my home zoo and the zoo now is a major improvement from what it once was.
